Martin Retires

Michael Harrison & Judith Harrison, original creators of Mad Hatter Tea, have now resumed their roles as directors of ‘A Taste of Wonderland’ Tea Company.

Martin Binks was appointed Managing Director of The Mad Hatter Tea Company to take the company forward whilst giving the creator Michael Harrison, settled loose ends from his former business ties… This done Mr. Binks handed the Mad Hatter Tea Company back to the original directors on the 10^th October 2011 not just intact but better able to sail the waters of an uncertain financial market, because of the strategic plans he put in place during the time he was in charge.

Harrison said, ‘Martin Binks, known him for years, good man, good businessman, good head on his shoulders, was appointed because he’d do a Stirling job. During the time he was steering this ship, Mad Hatter Tea has forged better ties with Grand Central Railways (Sunderland to London & Bradford to London), acquired as a new client, North Yorkshire Moors Railway (The busiest Steam Railway attraction in Europe) & assisted in supplying to the Fullers Group who have establishments scattered around the south of England. Mad Hatter Tea has had a great captain steering the ship, and Martin Binks will without doubt be missed’.

Moving forward Mad Hatter Tea, is now set to develop and grow, contracts are being sought, which include the likes of De Vere Hotels whose head office is in Darsbury where Lewis Carroll was born, a national chain of Garden Centres, whereby Mad Hatter Tea will be served in their restaurants and café’s and in their shops too, and also the National Trust…

Mad Hatter Tea is looking forward to the exciting challenges ahead…
